In support to the 1st Seafood Festival of Viet Nam, held in Can Tho City on 24-27 April, ICAFIS was invited to present on the issues associated with the adoption of market-led mechanisms to achieve aquaculture and fisheries sustainability. Experiences gathered both within and outside Viet Nam were shared with an eager audience.
The workshop participants also witnessed presentations from Vice-Minister Luong Le Phuong and other 7 presenters. The event was opened by Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung and received great attention from both Vietnamese and English press.
