Aquatic epidemiological tools are key to controlling diseases in aquaculture. For this reason the Iranian Veterinary Organization (IVO), responsible for the control of animal diseases in I.R. Iran, supported a training course in Aquatic Epidemiology for his key aquatic animal disease staff. The training course was delivered by ICAFIS Co-Director Flavio Corsin on the 16-19 May 2010.

The course was attended by 38 participants from IVO Head Quarters in Tehran and representatives from all the Iranian provinces. Course evaluation conducted at the end of the training revealed deep satisfaction by the participants, most of whom requested an advanced course.
