This handbook is developed based on the outcomes of the project “Sustainable and Inclusive Clam Value Chain Development in Vietnam” implemented during 2018–2022. The project was funded by the European Union (EU) and jointly carried out by Oxfam in Vietnam and the International Collaborating Centre for Aquaculture and Fisheries Sustainability (ICAFIS).
The “MSC Certification Practice Handbook” was compiled and designed by ICAFIS specifically for community-level stakeholders—such as cooperatives, producer groups, and clam farming teams. It aims to provide practical guidance and essential knowledge on applying the Marine Stewardship Council (MSC) standard, emphasizing the importance and benefits of sustainable clam production.
