This handbook was developed based on the outcomes of pilot models implemented in Ben Tre, Tien Giang, and Tra Vinh provinces. It is one of the key publications under the project “Sustainable and Inclusive Clam/Bamboo Value Chain Development in Vietnam,” funded by the European Union and implemented by Oxfam in Vietnam and the International Collaborating Centre for Aquaculture and Fisheries Sustainability (ICAFIS). The handbook provides practical guidelines for the farming process of clams—from juvenile (seed) to market-ready size—following a three-stage approach tailored to the clam farming areas of the Mekong Delta. It aims to equip clam producers with a proactive and standardized process for seed production and grow-out farming.
